Duties:Overview of the Position
The company is currently looking for top notch candidates to build its world-class Business Development, Operations, and Global Strategy Team to help the Company scale up operations, launch its first generation products into emerging global markets, as well as to help the Company plan its Global Strategy. Candidates will work closely with senior management and Business Advisory Board members to create & develop long term strategies for product development, business and strategy development. This is an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of global business and strategy development in the context of cutting edge science and technology in a way that maximizes a global humanitarian impact.

The OM/Growth Strategist will also be expected to propose and initiate projects that may include, but are not limited to:
• Development of global strategy;
• Coalition-building; and
• Improvement of internal efficiency.

Daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
OPERATIONS
• In conjunction with other team members, develop and execute a plan for developing the company’s organizational capacity;
• Expand and maintain existing procurement/purchasing procedures;
• Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures;
• Manage day-to-day functions;
• Manage facilities and relationships.

HUMAN RESOURCES
• Play an integral role in hiring;
• Manage relationship with human resources, visas, and benefits provider(s);
• HR administration, including relationship with Professional Employment Organization.

FINANCE & ACCOUNTING
• Report issues and timely reports to the Executive Director;
• Ensure organizational compliance and obtain available incentives;
• Oversee accounts, assure internal controls to fiscal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:1. Able to start within stated time frame (within three months of job posting);
2. 3+ years experience in project management, budgets, and contracts management required;
3. Background in technology (engineering, biomedical, biotechnology, nanotechnology) required, higher degree (Masters, MD or PhD) strongly preferred;
4. Experience working with a young, growing company;
5. Excellent management, coordination, budgeting and administration skills (MBA preferred);
6. Skilled in dealing with day-to-day operations, human resource management, recruitment, legal background;
7. Experience in building companies and strengthening management systems to strengthen organizational capacity;
8. Strong written and oral communication skills;
9. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high quality work and attention to details;
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks, including follow-through and tracking;
11. Comfortable working with sensitive, confidential material;
12. Computer skills, including the following programs: Microsoft Project, Quickbooks, etc.
