Nanobiosym is currently seeking top notch candidates to build its Corporate Operations Team to help the company scale up its operations.
The ideal candidate must have worked in a startup/entrepreneurial environment and established and maintained scalable corporate practices. S/he understands how to implement effective operational strategies, is IT savvy, has great communication skills and experience interacting with high-level personnel. S/he will enhance organization effectiveness by managing daily operations while moving projects along. S/he should be a strong team player with a calm demeanor, can-do attitude, be very organized and be able to prioritize multiple tasks, anticipate needs and meet strict deadlines/milestones.

Duties:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
• Key Areas: Day-to-day Operations, IT, HR, and Legal.
• Establish performance goals and allocate resources according to budget
• Work with the management team to develop and implement organizational strategies, policies and practices.
• Improve and implement operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, document and archive management, business process, organizational planning and security control.
• Coordinate HR, Finance, Legal and Operational Infrastructure
• Increase operational effectiveness and efficiency through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Legal) as well as coordination and communication between functions and stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day functions, facilities and relationships
• Report issues and progress directly to the CEO.
• Ensure organizational compliance.
• Oversee accounts, ensuring cost control and develop internal controls to fiscal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• 10-15 years of Operations Management Experience, preferably in a start-up/entrepreneurial/hypergrowth environment.
• Be able to work independently, and wear multiple hats.
• Have experience in scaling-up and maintaining operations for a high-tech company.
• Have a strong IT background including: IT infrastructure development, network development, document management systems, server maintenance, high-security IT network maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge on Finance, Business Law, IP Law and HR/Labor Law. Awareness of OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• Must have strong Project Management skills and have the ability to meet milestones and complete multiple concurrent tasks. Ability to lead, plan and manage in a dynamic environment. Adept at planning, prioritizing, multi-tasking, organizing and following through while remaining energetic and focused.
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands.
• Excellent communication, written and organizational skills. Ability to convey information in a clear, concise and efficient manner. Active listening, diplomacy, and discretion are a prerequisite for this role.
• Able to handle confidential information, has a good sense for synthesis.
• Recent industry experience working with executives. Must possess an outstanding customer-first attitude and a professional demeanor.
• Candidate must have an MBA degree with physics/applied science/engineering background. MBA or a Phd in physics would be preferred.
• Strong MS Office/XP and Database Skills.
• Technology Project Management Skills.
